situated and abutting upon that portion of an existing; town. highway %nown
as the Assembly Point Road in the Town of Queensbury, Warren County, New
York, beginning at the southerly line of the lands of Mary McGavisk halsh
and continuing northerly to the old canal, do hereby request the Town of
Queensbury to relocate said portion of the said Assembly Point Road east-
erly of and to the rear of our respective premises, and do further re -
quest and consent that the aforesaid portion of the existing Assembly
Point Road be discontinued as a town highway, and we , and each of us,
does hereby release the Town of- Queensbury and the Town Superintendent
of Highways of the Town of Queensbury of and from any and all manner of
claims for damages for the relocation of said town highway; and the discon-
tinuance of the aforesaid portion of- the existing town highway, for all
of the purposes specified in or intended by the provisions of Section 171
or any applicable sections of the Highway Law,

Walsh and continuing northerly to the old canal, have requested that the I
old road along the lake shore be discontinued as a Town highway and that i
the new road at the rear of their property be made a Town highway to re- 1

The meeting, was called to order by the Supervisor,
There were present:

Mr. and Mrs . Eirl Palmer, Steve Shappy, Arthur Davis end Lawrence La
Marque were present in reference - to the extension ofthe proposed Big
Broom Road across the Palmer property to the Palmer farm.
It was stated that the condition of the proposed road was, rough and
had numerou!T wash-�boards. They also discussed with the Falmers the con-
veyance of land in 6rder to straighten the existing right of way across
the property.
Jess Smith and. Nesbert Dehoney were present and discussed with the Town
the proposition of hard.-topping the Patter Road, also known as the
Buttles Road. The toard geneFrally discussed .the matter with Mir* Smith
and Mr. Dehoney.. It was stated that the distance was about 1-6/10 mi.
The Clerk read the following application f�rom Forrest R. Lilly for ap-
pointment to the otfice of constable.
