Your Board has been pre- viously notified that this extension was approved by the Water Board of the City of Glens Falls Mr. Harris has requested that this estimate be based on using; 6 inch cast iron mechanical joint pipe. This is not in accord with the overall picture of the proposed. Queensbury Water Supply System, but as Mr. Harris explained to me the area to be served cannot as yet afford to pay the expense of a main of sufficient size to be useful in the Queensbury Water Supply System. By using mechanical joint pipe, a por- tion of these costs may be recovered in the event that the Queensbury System is installed. The roads to be served with this main are the Lake George Road to the. propos-ed district line , and. the Montray Road from the existing district line to the Lake George Road:.
