RESOLVED that the Town Superintendent of Highways be and is hereby
authorized-and direated' to purchase and install the necessary, pipe on
Ft. Amherst Road for a distance of approximately 75 feet for street
drainage connecting to the existing storm sewer on Ft. Amherst Road.

WKiEREAS the Delaware and Hudson Railroad Co. has signified its inten-
tion to abandon its service between dens Falls and Lake Georke,
RESOLVED that the Town Board of Queensbury, Warren Co. , N.Y., opposes
such action because of loss of revenue from taxes and because of the in-
convenience caused to residents of the Torn of Queensbury by the cessation
of train service„ and be it further
RESOLVED that the Supervisor of the Town of Queensbury be authorised
and directed to file, with the Interstate Commerce -Commission, a copy of
this resolution and such other data as may be pertinent to this issue.

Sealed proposals will lee- received by the Town Board
of the Town of Queens'bury at the undersigned Town
Clerk's. Offi cue, _Ridge Road, Town of Queens-'bury, up
to 7::30 P.M., E.S.T. on the lst day of December,
1956, for laying-and installing of approximately
200O feet of 6% cast iron water main with fittings _
and hydrants in the West Glens Falls Water District
Extension. Such installation to-include excavating
and trenching to the depth of at least five feet
! 'and the back filling of the trench and the restor-
ation of the highways and roads to the original
condition.
i Sruch installation to be made subject to the approval
