Dear Russell: As requested by you I have prepared and enclose original- and two copies of bond resolution for your West Glens Falls water dist- rict authorizing the issuance: of W,,800 of serial bonds , or so such thereof as may be required to complete your project. You will adopt this resolution and enter the original in your minutes, have your Town Clerk certify and return to me the two copies. This same resolution authorizes you to borrow in anticipation of the sale of the bonds, and, as I understand it, at some time soon you expect to borrow $7,500,00. EXCEEDING $151.a00r. AND-AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF NOT EXCEEDING $151,800 -SER AT, BONDS OF SAID TOWN TO PAY THE COST THEREOF* , 92.,48 WHEREAS.; pursuant to proceedings heretofore duly had and taken under the_,prQvisions, of the. Said bonds shall mature in annual installments in the manner provided by law over a period in excess of five years and all other details concerning the same shall be fixed: by a subsequent resolution of this Board:. - Section 3. It is hereby determined that the period of probable usefulness of such object or purpose is forty years pursuant to sub- division l of paragraph w of Section 11.00 of the Local Finance Law, Section 4. Subject to the provisions of the Local Finance Law, the power to authorize the issuance of and to sell bond anticipation notes in anticipation of the issuance and sale of the serial bonds herein authorized, including renewals of such notes , is hereby dele- gated to the Supervisor, the chief fiscal officer. Such notes shall be of such terms, form and contents , and shall be sold in such wanner,, as may be prescribed by said Supervisor, consistent with the terms of E the Local Finance Law. Section 5, The faith and credit of the said Town of Queens- bury are here�iy pledged for the payment of the principal of and in- terest on said bonds as the same become due and payable. Said bonds - and the interest thereon shall be payable in the first instance from assessments upon 'benefited property in said extension levied annually in the same manner and at the same time as other town charges, but if i not paid from such source , all the taxable real property in said Town shall be subject to the levy of an ad valorem talc without limitation as to rate or amount sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on s_4id bonds as the same become due and payable. Section G. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
