The Supervisor declared the Public Hearing open. Proof of publication of notice for sealed proposals to supply the Town with a motor grader filed. Resolution Na,. 96 introduced by Mr. Bentley„ Justice of Peace, seconded by Mr. Walkup, Town Councilman. WHEREAS, the Town Superintendent of Highways, did, on the 9th day of November, 1957, duly recommend the purchase of certain equipment pursuant to the provisions of Seetion'142 of the Highway Law, Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved tiXat pursuant to Section 142 of the Highway Law the Town Superintendent of Highways is hereby authorized to purchase, .- in accordance with the provisions of Article 5-A of the G=eneral. Manicipal Law, with the approval of the County Superintendent of Highways 3, the following One Huber-Warco Model 6-D2 - Motor Grader (see Bid for details) for a maximum price of Twenty Thousand. Five Hundred. Fifty-three Dollars ($209,553.00) 9, delivered. at Store house, _Town of Queensbury, I .Y., and to be delivered on or about December 5th, 1957. The Town Superintendent of Highways is here=by authorized, subject to the approval of the County Superintendent of Highways , to surrender to the vendor One used Galion Motor Grader as part payment for the above equipment to be purchased. The terms of payment will be as follows Trade-in allowance $ 2.0553.00 Check from proceeds of obligations 18,000.00 Total 209,55300 K. contract of purchase for the item purchased shall be duly exe - cuted between the Town Superintende=nt of Highways and such vendor, and when duly approved, by the County Superintendent of Highways , it shall become effective. When such contract has been duly executed and approved, the Supervisor is authorized to complete such purchase upon delivery of the item purchased in accordance with the terms of such resolution and such contract, and to pay the above amount specified to be paid by check or chezks,. by a check in the, amount of $18,000.00 drawn on the account established from the proceeds of obligations to be issued pursuant to the Local Finance Law to finance such purchase.
