Resolution No. 1, introduced by Justice Bentley,, seconded by Council- man Lampson C WHEREAS, It is deemed to be in the best interests of the Town. of Queens_. butt' to grant vacations with pay to employees of the Highway Depart- ment of the Town. of Queensbury who are compensated on a per diem or hourly basis, now, therefore , be it r j RESOLVER„ That pursuant to Section 92 of the General Municipal Law of the State of .New York, employees of the Highway Department of the Town of-Queensbury be granted vacations with pay under the following I conditions: I (1) Employees employed from six months to one year, a vacation aggregating three days. (2) Employment from one year to three years, a vacation aggregating one week. (3) Employment of three years or more , vacation aggregating two weeks. 1-- (4) The amount of vacation pay to be a sum based on the, employees, Li earnings for a 40 hour week at his hourly rate .. r (5) Vacations shall be taken between'April 1 and December 31 in each year commencing 19551, subject to the approval of the Town Superinten- dent of Highways as to the exact time or times, except that the flown Superintendent of Highways may accord an- emp�oyee, the whole or a part of the vacation to which he is entitled, at a time pr3 or to April lst in the year in which such employee is entitled to a vaca ti on.
