In the matter of the laying of a new 6" cast iron water main and apurtenances in the West Glens Falls Water District upon River St. extension, Rozelle St. , Murray Ave. , Ryan Ave. and Main Street, bids were received as follows: 4 John Kubricky, total $1y657.60 Howard LaRose .29314.00 The proposals were read by the clerk. Resolution No. 94.*introduced by Mr. Lampson, seconded by Mr. �'entley: RESOLVED that the bid of John Kubricky for furnishing of labor and equipment necessary to lay a 6" water main and apurtenances in the West Glens Falls Water District, be �and the same is accepted and that a contract for the construction of the same in accordance with the plans and specifications be and the same is hereby awarded to the said John Kubricky. Further resolved that the Supervisor be and is hereby authorized- and directed to execute a contract for such construction or installation. Duly adopted by the following vote: Ayes - Mr. Bentley, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Sleight and Mr. Harris Noes - none Resolution No. 9§ introduced by Mr. Bentley, seconded by Mr. Lampson WHEREAS it has been brought to the attention of this board that the contractor is contemplating using brick in the construction of manholes, and WHEREAS it was agreed by and between this board and the contractor that manholes were to be constructed with poured concrete with the ex- ception that not exceeding fifteen inches at the top for a chimney of 1 the manhole may be constructed with brick. RESOLVED that this board hereby required that the manholes be constructed with poured concrete as agreed upon by and between the parties to th contract for the installation.of the drainage system In drainage district No. 1 of the Town of Queensbury, with the except- ion that not exceeding 15 inches at the top for a chimney may be con ..
