Dear Craig,
The stormwater design for the Gardner-Lewis site development followed very closely the design prepared
for Kirk Roberts that was reviewed and approved by the Boards as well as the Town Engineer(sign off
letter attached) in 2014. Specific to the Gardner-Lewis design,the proposed house is approximately 100
sf smaller than the Roberts house and the driveway is the same size. Also, a rain garden along the
driveway was added as was an additional stormwater retention chamber to manage house runoff.
We ran Hydrocad software on the Roberts design,when that was submitted 4 years ago, and the 345 cf
retention volume worked fine to meet Town standards (reference TDE sign off). The Gardner-Lewis
design is in the same footprint with a slightly smaller house and 25%more retention volume provided. In
our opinion the current design is conservative, as illustrated below:
