NOTICE is hereby given in compliance with $action 142 of the
Highway Law, that Ernest Lackey, Superintendent of Highways of the Town
of Queensbury, 'has recommended to the Town Board of such Town as
follows:
I, Ernest B. Lackey, Town Superintendent of Highwa s of the Town
of Queehsbury, do respectfully recommend to the Town Boa�d of the Town
of Queensbury that the 1941 Galion Grader now owned by the Town be
replaced by a new grader or by a used grader if one can be obtained in
good condition with a new machine guarantee. ,A► new grader would cost
about $130500. but it should be possible to- obtain a good used grader
for about $81700.00. It is estimated that the trade in value of the 1941
Galion Grader now owned by the Town is about $1,500.00.

of persons , signed by D. Frank Sullivan, Chairman Marren Pounty,
Democratic Committee from which Bemocratic Inspectors were to be
selected. This list was not authenticated and was received'by the
Town Clerk, June 30th,1952 at 1:30 P.M. by Registered mail.

At a regular meeting of the Town Board held on the above date at

Dear Mr. Wallace,
As you know, my Tastee-Freez store is located on upper Glen
Street between Hamburger Haven and the Buffet. The fire insurance
rates that I have to pay are very, very high because I am in an un-
protected area even though the city water line is1within 75 feet of
the store.
I respectfully request that a fire plug be installed somewhere
along the line that would be available to that' particular section.
This would not only decrease our fire rates over 2/3 but would give
us the protection we desire.
