Turner Town Clerk Glens Falls , New York Dear Mrs. Turner: Enclosed are two copies of Contract and Resolution for the purchase of one used Galion Model 101 Motor Grader, Serial No. MD8883. I have approved the Contract but with some hesitation since delivery was made to the Town before the Contract and Resolution was submitted to me. I strongly feel that it is not a good practice for the various Town Boards to allow -a piece of equipment, requiring the approval of the County Superintendent, to be delivered before approval is given, as complications could arise which might prove embarassing to all concerned. Will you please request the Town Board to jeep this in Mind in the future purchase of road building equipment. Very truly yours, (Signed) Herrick Osborne County Supt, of Highways.
