Minutes of meeting held June 28th were read and Approved. The privelege of the floor was extended to Mr Iragood who spoke briefly on a proposed mausoline for the Fine view cemetery. An a*ilication was received from Millard Coon for appointment as School attendance officer. A reeomendation was received from the gemocratice committeemen of the first dittict recomending that elen Jane Sullivan and 58 Maddolen R Kelly be appointed democratic inspectors of election for suchdistrict. resolution No 97- Introduced by Justice Sleight, Seconded by ounc lman Lmpsoh. RHEREAS considerable rubbish,,, ashes, Paper and trash falls from uncovered dump trucks on and along sherman Ave. , in the Town of aueensbury, proceeding from the City of Glens Falls to the City Dump located on said Sherman Avenue, Now Therefore be it resolved that the Town Board requests the City officials of the City of G1ensFalls to enforce the regulations rules and ordinances of such city in relation to loading and covering the loads of rubbish, ashes and trash being carried by such trucks to said dump. Further resolved that the Town Clerk be and is hereby requested to obtain a list of persons who have had licenses issued by the City of Glans Falls for trucking. Duly adopted by the following vote. L. H.Meyer who talked briefly in reference to the proposed installation of a pump to increase the pressure of water in the north Glens Falls eater District. The Board generally discussed the matter of ways and means of increasing the pressure. .6'r Eldridge ogre and Mr Henerdwallace , Supt of the district also entered"into the discussion and no other action was taken in the matter. The Board generally discussed the matter of the high rate of speeds at which automobiles are being operated over the main roads in the Town of Queensbury and particularliy in the vicikity,,of the City of Glens Falls. After such discussion r. arris , the Chairman of the board appointed Mr Bentley, and Sleight a committee to -go V&th-;gX1ib1vto Albany to take the mater up with the State raffic Commission.
