Duly adopted this 2nd day of September, 1999, by the following vote: Ayes: Mr. Irish, Mr. Tucker, Mr. Merrill, Mr. Turner, Mr. Champagne Noes: None AbsentNone RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TERMINATION OF WATER SERVICE TO RODEW A Y INN IN THE EVENT OF CONTINUED SEPTIC FAILURES RESOLUTION NO.: 46.1999 INTRODUCED BY: Douglas Irish, WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Theodore Turner WHEREAS, the Director of Building and Code Enforcement has reported to the Town Board that there have been numerous recent septic system failures at the Rodeway Inn property on Route 9, Queensbury, and WHEREAS, such septic system failures have resulted in discharge of contaminants into the storm sewer system which ultimately discharges into Glen Lake, and WHEREAS, the property owner has been previously notified by the Director that such discharge must cease but several additional incidents of discharge have continued to occur, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that, in the event of any additional septic system failure discharges at the property, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby authorizes the Director of Building and Code Enforcement to request the Town Water Department to terminate water service to the Rodeway Inn property on Route 9, Queensbury and the Town Water Department is hereby authorized to terminate such servIce.
