CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS - BAY RIDGE VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY
Town Board held discussion with officers of Bay Ridge Volunteer Fire Company regarding proposed
contract negotiations and the following subjects were discussed:
Proposed Bay Ridge Firehouse (acquisition of land and professional fees involved)
Thermo Imaging Camera
Repairing generator
Fuel
Driveway sealing
Officer's transportation, (leasing of a four wheel vehicle at $500.00 per mos., plus initial $7500.00 to equip
vehicle)
Fire hose
Contract payment schedule (3 payment system, 50/25/25 as the percentage of payments)
Vehicle fund
Capital Project FundlBudget for new firehouse
Town's Contingency Fund
Letter from Bay Ridge regarding intent of money from sale of the two firehouses
Retirement and the Service Award Program (Resolution prepared for next regular meeting to allow
proposed changes to go to referendum)
Contract negotiation discussions to continue at a later date. . ..
