1. PURPOSE:
The purpose of this Local Low is to prohibit, under penalty of fine for violation,
the.parking of any vehicle on a portion of County Route 79 also known as Boulevard ►
Rood in the Town of Queensbury.
2. DEFINITIONS:
For the purpose of this Local Low, the words "Motor Vehicle," "Vehicle," "Person,"
and "Pork"shall hove the some meaning as set forth for the definitions of such words
in the Vehicle and Traffic Low of thb'Stote of New Yo':•k.
3. No Parking on Couty Route 79, Also Known as Boulevard Rood in the Town
of Queensbury:
No motor vehicle or other vehicle of any kind shall be ollo wed or permitted
to pork and no persons shall pork a motor vehicle or other vehicle for any period
of time on or on the easterly side or in the easterly right-of-way of:
A. All that piece or portion of the westerly side.-of County Route 79 in
the Town of Queensbury, County of Warren, State of New York, lying or existing
generally 200' on the northerly side and 123' on the southerly side of the intersection
of said County Route 79 and Queensbury Avenue, said area being more specifically
described as al/ that piece or portion of County Route 79, described as County Route
79, the westerly side thereof, and right-of-way thereof, beginning at the northwesterly
corner of the intersection of County Route 79 and Queensbury Avenue,'and then
proceeding from said intersection on the said side of County Route 79 in on northerly
direction, 2001, and all that piece or portion of County Route 79, described as County
Route 79, the westerly side thereof, and right-of-way thereof, beginning at the south-
westerly corner of the intersection of County Route 79 and Queensbury Avenue,
and thence proceeding from said intersection on said side of County Route 79, in
a southerly direction, 1231.
4. Penalty:
Any person violating any provision or paragraph of Section 3 of this Local Low, �
shall, upon conviction, be punishable for a first offense by a fine not to exceed $25.00,
and for a second offense by a fine not to exceed $50.00. In addition to the oforesoid
penalties, the Town Board of-the Town of Queensbury may institute any property
action, suit, or proceeding, to prevent, restrain, correct, or abate any violation of
this Local Low.
5. This Local Low shall take effect immediately upon filing thereof in the Office
of the Secretory of State.
