BE IT ENACTED BY THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1, Chapter 88 of the Code of the Town of Queensbury is hereby
amended to add a new subparagraph following section 6, paragraph D, subparagraph
(3) to be known as paragraph D, subparagraph (4) and to read as follows:
• 388-6 D. (4) In accordance with the Labor Law of the State of New York,
the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury may, by resolution, cause the Town of
Queensbury to assume full responsibility for enforcing the provisions of
Article 17 of the,Labor Law of the State of New York titled Public Safety and
Rules adopted thereunder. In the event the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury
adopts said resolution, the Director of Building and Code Enforcement, his
assistants, employees and department may be assigned and/or delegated any
inspection and enforcement duties required by said Article 17 of the Labor Law
by the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury.
Section 2. Effective Date
This Local Law shall take effect immediately in accordance with the
provisions of the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New York.
