Section 1. Purpose and Authority
The Town Board wishes to expand the residency requirement for the Town's Budget Officer
to Warren, Washington and Saratoga Counties. Therefore, the Queensbury Town Code is hereby
amended by adding a new Chapter entitled "Expansion of Town Residency Requirement for Town
Budget Officer." This Local Law is adopted in accordance with Municipal Home Rule Law §10.
Section 2. Addition to Code -
A new Chapter 37 is added to the Town Code as follows:
"Expansion of Town Residency Requirement for Town Budget Officer
The Town Budget Officer shall reside in the Counties of Warren, Washington or Saratoga,
in New York State."
Section 3. Repealer -�
All Local Laws or Ordinances or parts of Local Laws or Ordinances in conflict with any part
of this Local Law are hereby repealed.

Seetionr4. Severability
If any part of this Local Law shall be declared invalid by a Court of competent jurisdiction,
such declaration shall not affect or impair in any way any other provision and all other provisions
shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 5. Effective Date
This Local Law shall take effect upon filing in the office of the New York Secretary of State
as provided in §27 of the Municipal Home Rule Law.
