PRINCIPAL ACCOUNT CLERK IN WATER DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury’s Water Superintendent has recommended that the
Town Board authorize the promotion of Andre Thibodeau from Account Clerk in the Wastewater
Department to Principal Account Clerk in the Water Department, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to authorize the requested promotion on a provisional
basis,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the promotion
of Andre Thibodeau from Account Clerk in the Wastewater Department to Principal Account Clerk in

the Water Department on a provisional basis effective on or about June 18, 2019 at the rate of pay
specified in the Town’s CSEA Union Agreement for the position for the year 2019, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that such promotion shall be subject to a 90 day trial (probationary) period in
accordance with the Town’s Agreement with CSEA, successful completion of the Civil Service
exam for the position and any other applicable Civil Service requirements, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor, Water
Superintendent and/or Town Budget Officer to complete any forms and take any action necessary to
effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
