FIRE CO., INe. RESOLUTION NO. 495, 1991 INTRODUCED BY: Mrs. Marilyn Potenza WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mrs. Betty Monahan WHEREAS, the Town Board previously adopted resolution no. 465 on August 26, 1991, approving of a construction project proposed for the Queensbury Central Volunteer Fire Company, Inc., and WHEREAS, said resolution referred to the fact that the said Fire Company would have certain funds available to contribute to their project as of January, 1992, and WHEREAS, James C. Piper, President of the Queensbury Central Volunteer Fire Company, Inc., has advised that the date anticipated to commit to funds will be March, 1992, rather than January, 1992, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby amends resolution no. 465, 1991, such that the said Town Board understands that the availability date for the Queensbury Central Volunteer Fire Company, Inc., to contribute funds to their construction project will be March, 1992. Duly adopted this 13th day of September, 1991, by the following vote: AYES : Mrs. Potenza, Mrs. Monahan, Mr. Borgos NOES : None ABSENT: Mr. Kurosaka, Mr. Montesi (Councilman Montesi entered the meeting) Supervisor Borgos-Announced that a location has apparently been found for National Church Residences to place its Senior Housing...Location Ward 3 Off Aviation and Mannor Drive...Owner 1. Buckley Bryan Jr. ...request in front of Town Board to rezone property from RR3A to MR-5....proposed to extend Farr Lane 100' +- we would have to acquire land from NY. State to do this... no action to be taken for the time being on the Meadowbrook Road property.... RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TOWN CLERK TO SUBMIT PETITION FOR CHANGE OF ZONE TO TOWN OF QUEENSBURY PLANNING BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 496, 1991 INTRODUCED BY THE ENTIRE TOWN BOARD WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has previously approved a form entitled, "Petition for a Change of Zone" for rezoning matters, and has directed that the same be used for rezoning requests, and WHEREAS, the Town Attorney for the Town of Queensbury has recommended that any and all applications for rezoning must first go to the Planning Department and Planning Board for recommendations regarding the same, and WHEREAS, following such recommendations, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury will then review the Zoning Applications and take such other action as it shall deem necessary and proper, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby authorizes and directs that the following application be submitted to the Planning Board for the Town of Queensbury for report and recommendation: 1. Buckley Bryan, Jr. - Tax Map No. 73-1-22, Fox Farm Road, Queensbury, New York. Duly adopted this 12th day of September, 1991, by the following vote: AYES : Mrs. Potenza, Mr. Montesi, Mrs. Monahan, Mr. Borgos NOES : None ABSENT: Mr. Kurosaka Councilman Montesi-Are we rezoning all 25 acres? Supervisor Borgos-The proposal is to rezone the entire parcel with conditions... RESOLUTION OF TOWN BOARD TO BE DESIGNATED AS LEAD AGENCY REGARDING ADOPTION OF PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE REGARDING PETITION FOR CHANGE OF ZONE FOR 1. BUCKLEY BRYAN, JR. RESOLUTION NO. 497, 1991 INTRODUCED BY: MRS. BETTY MONAHAN WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: MRS. MARILYN POTENZA WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury is presently considering the amendment, supplementation, change or modification of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Queensbury which was adopted on October 1, 1988, and more specifically a change of zone of property owned by 1. Buckley Bryan, Jr., his parcel of property being tax map no.: 73-1-22, proposed to be changed from RR-3A to MR- 5, thus modifying the existing Zoning Ordinance and Map, and WHEREAS, it would appear necessary to comply with the State Environmental Quality Review Act in connection with conducting an environmental review of the proposed action which consists of adopting the proposed amendment, and WHEREAS, it would appear that the action about to be undertaken by the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury is an unlisted action, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby indicates that it would desire to be the lead agency in connection with any reviews necessary pursuant to the State Environmental Quality Review Act, and hereby directs the Town Attorney's Office for the Town of Queensbury to notify the Planning Board of the Town of Queensbury, the Warren County Planning Board, the Adirondack Park Agency, and any other involved agencies, of this desire, and that a lead agency must be designated within 30 days and to further send a copy of Part I of the Short Environmental Assessment Form, this resolution, and the proposed amendments and notifications to these agencies. Duly adopted this 12th day of September, 1991, by the following vote: AYES : Mrs. Potenza, Mr. Montesi, Mrs. Monahan, Mr. Borgos NOES : None ABSENT: Mr. Kurosaka Discussion held in regard to sewer hookup...property off Aviation Road but outside the sewer dist. would the Board entertain any kind of discussion regarding a sewer contract... .Board willing to talk about it...
