Every disinterred body, dead from any disease or cause, shall be treated as dangerous to the public health and shall not be accepted for transportation unless said removal has been ap- proved by the Secretary of the State Board of Health, and the consent of the health authorities of the locality to which the corpse is consigned has first been obtained;and all such disinterred remains shall be enclosed in a hermetically soldered zinc,tin or copper lined coffin or box. Bodies deposited in receiving vaults, or otherwise kept for thirty days after death,will be treated and considered the same as buried bodies. But if such a body has been thoroughly disinfected by arterial and cavity in- jection and surface disinfection,by licensed Embalmer,and the shipment is made within the thirty days the metallic coffin or box may be dispensed with. NOTE.—No disinterred corpse should be transported on account of the regular transit permit,but on account of a special permit on this Form No.2, issued in each instance by the Secretary of the State Board:of Health,as specified in Rule 8.
