1992-05-01 SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING MAY 1,1992 4:50 P.M. MTG43 RES#258 BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT DEPUTY SUPERVISOR NICK CAIMANO COUNCILMAN SUSAN GOETZ COUNCILMAN BETTY MONAHAN BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT SUPERVISOR MICHEL BRANDT COUNCILMAN PLINEY TUCKER TOWN OFFICIALS KATHLEEN KATHE Deputy Supervisor Caimano called meeting to order. DISCUSSION HELD Councilman Caimano-Noted that he has received a phone call from Charles Maine regarding Mr. Dystra who is supposed to do engineering studies on Hovey Pond. Noted that Finch Pruyn has offered their equipment to use for this. Has talked with Supervisor Brandt has received approval to go ahead. Ms. Kathe-Noted that Finch and Pruyn will provide an operator for the equipment. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENGINEERING STUDY OF THE HOVEY POND RECLAMATION PROJECT RESOLUTION NO.: 258,92 INTRODUCED BY: Mrs. Susan Goetz WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mrs. Betty Monahan WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury is desirous of completing an engineering study of the Hovey Pond Reclamation Project, and WHEREAS, Richard Dystra has proposed to perform engineering services and complete the study, said services to be performed at a not-to-exceed cost of $5,000.00, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby approves of the retaining of Richard Dystra to complete the proposed engineering study and hereby further authorizes the Town Supervisor to execute a contract with Mr. Dystra with the same to be in a form approved by the Town Attorney, and BE IT FURTHER, resolved that the cost of the study shall be paid for from Account #82- 7110-2899. Duly adopted this 1st day of May, 1992, by the following vote: AYES: Mrs. Goetz, Mrs. Monahan, Mr. Caimano NOES: None ABSENT:Mr. Brandt, Mr. Tucker No further action taken.
