Supervisor Brandt called meeting to order ...
Town Board held discussion regarding public officers and employees legal liability policy renewal form
and the following resolution was proposed:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT WITH INSURANCE COMPANY
FOR PUBLIC OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES
LEGAL LIABILITY POLICY
RESOLUTION NO. 297, 92, Introduced by Mr. Nick Caimano who moved for it's adoption, seconded by
Mrs. Susan Goetz.
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has been presented with information
concerning it's public officers and employees legal liability policy and the fact that it's up for renewal on
May 25th, 1992 and that the Town will select certain options with regard to liability limits and premium
costs, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury after considering the information
presented to it this date has made a decision,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby authorizes the Town
Supervisor to enter into an agreement with the Insurance Company for public officials and employees legal
liability policy in the amount of an aggregate limit of $3,000,000.00 with the retention per loss to be
$10,000.00 and with the understanding that the premium will be $11,372.00 per year, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, this shall be paid from the appropriate account for payment of insurance for the
Town of Queensbury.
Duly adopted this 20th day of May, 1992, by the following vote:
AYES: Mr. Caimano, Mr. Tucker, Mrs. Goetz, Mrs. Monahan,
Mr. Brandt
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
RESOLUTION CALLING FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION
RESOLUTION NO. 298, 92, Introduced by Mr. Pliney Tucker who moved for it's adoption, seconded by
Mr. Nick Caimano.
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby adjourns from Regular
Session to enter Executive Session to discuss a labor matter and a personnel matter.
Duly adopted this 20th day of May, 1992, by the following vote:
ALL THOSE IN FAVOR: Ayes
ALL THOSE OPPOSED: None
ABSENT: None
RESOLUTION TO RECONVENE
RESOLUTION NO. 299, 92, Introduced by Mr. Nick Caimano who moved for it's adoption, seconded by
Mrs. Susan Goetz.
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby adjourns from Executive
Session and enter Regular Session of the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury.
Duly adopted this 20th day of May, 1992, by the following vote:
ALL THOSE IN FAVOR: Ayes
ALL THOSE OPPOSED: None
ABSENT: None
No further action was taken.
