Discussion held regarding the re-organization of the departments that Mr. Parisi oversee's...he has come
back with a recommendation that we re-organize the position of Code Administrator and he feels that he
could take on that job, delegate some of the responsibility, do it in about 10 hours a week...we are
proposing a change in the Local Law basically giving the Town Board the power to delegate those
responsibilities and authority to whoever they want with the idea of eliminating a position and reshuffle
people there...Mr. Parisi's plan is to hire a Jr. Planner and eliminate Zoning Administrator and he can
handle the whole job easier and do more diverse things...

ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW NO. _, 1992
A LOCAL LAW TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY
CHAPTER 88, ENTITLED "FIRE PREVENTION & BUILDING CONSTRUCTION"
RESOLUTION NO. 356, 92

WHEREAS, at this meeting there has been presented for adoption by the Town Board of the Town
of Queensbury, Local Law No. _, 1992, A Local Law to Amend the Code of the Town of Queensbury by
amending and revising several provisions of Chapter 88, entitled "Fire Prevention & Building
Construction", and
WHEREAS, such legislation is authorized pursuant to the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State
of New York and Town Law, and
WHEREAS, prior to adoption of said Local Law, it is necessary to conduct a public hearing,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board determines that the proposed Local Law qualifies as a Type II
action under SEQRA, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury shall meet and hold a public
hearing at the Queensbury Town Office Bldg., 531 Bay Road, Queensbury, Warren County, New York, at
7:00 p.m., on the 15th day of July, 1992, to consider said Local Law No. _, 1992 and to hear all persons
interested on the subject matter thereof concerning the same to take such action thereon as is required or
authorized by law, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk of the Town of Queensbury is hereby directed to publish and
post the notice that has also been presented at this meeting concerning the proposed Local Law No. _,
1992 in the manner provided by law.

Discussion held on re-organization Mr. Parisi reviewed his proposal with the Town Board... (proposal on
file-re-organization of Land Use Regulatory Administration) Councilman Caimano- you are
recommending that Maria, Sue and Pam stay on ... Mr. Parisi-yes...noted that he felt that some of the
personnel should be replaced with professional staff.. . noted the Sr. Planner has indicated that she wants to
leave... Supervisor Brandt -what you are saying is that when the Sr. Planner leaves we will have two
planners that would replace her and the Zoning Administrator...
Discussion held-Mr. Caimano-We have received the minutes of the Queensbury Citizens Advisory
Committee on Environmental Matters...spoke on toxic spills noted he will contact the committee...
On motion the meeting was adjourned.
