Dear Craig:
At the request of Alex Wilcox, an applicant seeking Site Plan Review approval for a single family
residence on property located at the intersection of Moon Hill Rd. and Walkup Rd., I offer the
following.
I have been to the property on two occasions to review the site for the suitability of an onsite
wastewater system to serve the proposed single-family residence. We have yet to conduct any test
pits or perc tests but based on my observation of the site and local knowledge of the soil conditions
in the Moon Hill Road area I feel very confident that the site will support a viable onsite wastewater
absorption field. While it is a sloped site there are areas on less than 15%slopes where an
absorption field can be located and with minimal tree removal. I would note that the area
represented on the CT Male Grading & Erosion & Sediment Control Plan is in the approximate area I
witnessed.
In summary I believe it is reasonable to conclude that the property can satisfactorily support an
onsite wastewater treatment system.
