Re: Building Permit-Bathroom in Barn
Dave,
I have contracted out to Adirondack Pools to have a 28' 14' pool installed this
spring. I have sent you a floor plan of the barn with the proposed bathroom. Adirondack
Pools will file the necessary paperwork this spring. In addition to the pool I am going to
install a 25' 15' deck on the southern side of the barn, adjacent to the new pool. Those
plans are to be filed at the same time as the pool plans.
The bathroom in the barn is going to be for seasonal purpose only. I have replaced
the old windows in the barn,with new doors. I am also going to vinyl side the barn the
same as the house. The electric is going to be upgraded also. I will file for that at the
same time as the plumbing application. The proposed poolroom in the barn will be a
seasonal room. The garage will house no motor vehicles, storage only,tools, etc.
This coming week I have an executor coming to dig a 48 "trench for my water
line connection from the house to the barn. I would also like to drop the electric in there
at the same time if it is permissible. And lastly I have to investigate if the proposed new
bathrooms can be tied into the new septic tank, which was installed last year.
