Supervisor Brandt called meeting to order ... we need to pass a resolution to hire an appraisal on the land
that's needed for the extension of the Water Treatment Plant. Paul, would you fill us in?
Attorney Dusek-I'll dictate a resolution and I think that will fill you in as I go.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RETENTION OF APPRAISAL SERVICES
RESOLUTION NO. 746, 93

WHO MOVED FOR IT'S ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury is currently studying options to expand
the Water Treatment Plant located off Corinth Road in the Town of Queensbury, and
WHEREAS, as part of that expansion project the town anticipates the need to acquire further
lands, and
WHEREAS, there is a parcel of land consisting of approximately either twenty-four acres or
thirty-five acres adjacent to the Water Treatment Plant area that the town would like to obtain an appraisal
on, and
WHEREAS, Bruce Caza has offered to perform such appraisal at a rate of thirty-five dollars
($35.00) per hour not to exceed a total cost of fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500.00),
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby authorizes the retention of the
services of Bruce Caza
to perform the appraisal at the rate and cost indicated with the understanding that the cost shall not exceed
fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500.00) under any circumstances, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the payment of the appraisal cost shall be from the appropriate Queensbury
Consolidated Water District accounts to be later credited or paid for as part of the entire capital project
account for the Water Treatment Plant Expansion.

Supervisor Brandt-Okay, the purpose of this meeting other than that, was to interview candidates for the
Cemetery Commission and we need to go into Executive Session for that.

RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby adjourns from Regular
Session and enter Executive Session to conduct interviews for candidates of the Cemetery Commission.

AYES: Mrs. Goetz, Mrs. Monahan, Mr. Brandt
NOES: None
ABSENT: Mr. Caimano, Mr. Tucker
