Supervisor Champagne called meeting to order.
Discussion held. Councilman Caimano spoke to Supervisor Champagne's regarding a meeting with City
Councilman Richard Dudley, no action taken.
Councilman Pulver-Read letter into record from John Trembley and neighbors thanking the Highway
Department and Town Board for taking care of the parking situation regarding Algonquin Drive.
Discussion held regarding fire company and rescue squad contracts
Councilman Pulver-Noted the Town needs to decide what the Town is going to be paying for.
Councilman Caimano-Need to decide the length of the contracts.
Councilman Pulver-Would like to start a one year contract just for this year, then next year go to maybe
two, three year contracts with alternating the fire services and rescue squads contract years. Need to come
up with what the Town considers to be firematics and what the Town considers to be EMS equipment.
Town Board members noted fire companies will need to support their requests with documentation.
Councilman Caimano- Will need to justify their long term capital expenditures plans so that we can set
aside plans to pay for them.
Councilman Pulver-Would like to see the last five years that they budgeted money for their vehicle fund.
Councilman Caimano-Need to have a discussion regarding the boundaries, who is going to what. Do we
have the right number of groups out there and are they situated properly.
Councilman Pulver-Questioned contacting West Glens Falls Fire Company regarding the purchase of a fire
truck, no problem with it, but questioned if a resolution was done regarding the purchase.
Supervisor Champagne-Noted that the new auditing procedures should be put in the fire company
contracts.
Discussion held regarding the usage of the alerting system of the fire sirens, no action taken.

RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby adjourns its Special Town Board
Meeting.
Duly adopted this 31st day of August, 1994, by the following vote:
Ayes: Dr. Wiswall, Mr. Caimano, Mrs. Pulver, Mr. Champagne
Noes: None
Absent:Mrs. Monahan
No further action taken.
