WHEREAS, Adirondack Race Management/Lake George Triathlon Festival has requested

authorization from the Queensbury Town Board to conduct its 14 annual Lake George Triathlon on
the following roads:

EVENT : Lake George Triathlon

DATE : Saturday, August 31, 2019
TIME : Approximately 7:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. (Bike Leg Portion)
PLACE : Warren County Bike Trail and then Birdsall, Round Pond, Blind Rock,
Haviland, Rockwell, Sunnyside, Jenkinsville and Ridge Roads (map
delineating course attached);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby acknowledges receipt of proof of
insurance from Adirondack Race Management/Lake George Triathlon Festival to conduct the Lake

George Triathlon partially within the Town of Queensbury on Saturday, August 31, 2019, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby approves this event subject to approval by the
Town Highway Superintendent, which may be revoked due to concern for road conditions at any time
up to the date and time of the event.
