247.91 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADDENDUM TO RETORT BID RESOLUTION NO. 247, 1991 Introduced by Ronald Montesi who moved for its adoption, seconded by Marilyn Potenza: WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has previously authorized the advertisement of bids for a new Retort Chamber for the Pineview Crematorium, and WHEREAS, certain questions have been raised concerning the requirement that the successful bidder install the unit, and WHEREAS, the said Town Board after reviewing the matter with the Town Attorney has decided to delete the installation requirement of the bidding documents, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby authorizes the Town Attorney to draft an addendum to the bidding documents which addendum shall indicate that installation is not a requirement and is not an obligation of the successful bidder, however, it will be an obligation of the successful bidder to provide for delivery of the retort unit at which time the Town will take possession of the unit by removing it from the vehicle upon which it is delivered and it will also be a requirement of the successful bidder to provide for the initial startup and instructions with regard to the operation of the retort unit.
