204.91IN THE MATTER OF INCREASE AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE FACILITIES OF THE QUEENSBURY CONSOLIDATED WATER DISTRICT IN THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY, COUNTY OF WARREN, NEW YORK, PURSUANT TO SECTION 202-b OF THE TOWN LAW OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK. RESOLUTION NO. 204, 1991 WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has hereto fore established the Queensbury Consolidated Water District and several extensions thereto, lying within the said Town; and WHEREAS, the Town Board of the said Town of Queensbury is desirous of increasing and improving the facilities of the Queensbury Consolidated Water District, to wit: improvement of the water filtration plant administrative offices located at RD#2, Corinth Road, Town of Queensbury, County of Warren, by constructing an additional and new administration building of approximately 8,300 square feet adjacent to the existing administrative area of the plant, which is approximately 4,400 square feet. An enclosed walkway would connect both buildings. Improvements would include all construction and materials and other appurtenances necessary for a completely operational administration building;and WHEREAS, the Town Board has caused a map, plan and report of the aforesaid proposed additions and improvements to be prepared by O'Brien & Gere Engineers, Inc., working with Rist-Frost Associates, P.C., both firms, competent engineers duly licensed by the State of New York; and WHEREAS, the said map, plan and report identifies the improvements proposed and provides a proposed plan and elevation of administrative office building; and WHEREAS, the maximum amount proposed to be expended for said improvement and/or acquisition of the necessary facilities, is the sum of Eight-Hundred Thirty-Thousand Dollars, ($830,000.00); and WHEREAS, the Town Board is desirous of conducting a public hearing thereon and publishing and posting a notice thereof; NOW, on motion of Coucilperson Marilyn Potenza and seconded by Councilperson George Kurosaka, it is hereby, ORDERED, that the improvement to facilities proposed and estimated cost thereof be as indicated in the preambles of this resolution and the boundaries of the benefitted area are hereby determined to be the same as that of the Queensbury Consolidated Water District as extended, and it is further, ORDERED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury shall meet and hold a public hearing at the Town Office Bldg., 531 Bay Road, Queensbury, New York, at 7:00 o'clock p.m., on the 22nd day of April, 1991, to consider said plan and report and to hear all persons interested in the subject matter thereof concerning the same and to take such action thereon as is required or authorized by law, and it is further, ORDERED, that a copy of this resolution serve as the notice of the actions proposed herein as required by law, and that the same be published and posted as is required by Town Law Section 202(b), and it is further ORDERED, that a copy of the aforesaid map, plan, and report be placed on file with the Town Clerk of the Town of Queensbury and be made available for public inspection during normal business hours.
