Mr. Fred Miller and Mr. Fred Fields called on the board and requested that the road leading from the south side of Glen:-, ' Lake to the Country Club road be repaired. Harold Scales and Robert Scales called on the board in reference to the drainage of Pershing Road. Mr. and Mrs. William Palmer, Mr. Frank White, Mr. Howard Weeks, Mr. Arthur Palmer, Mr. Albert Ouderkirk, Mr. James Nolan, Mr. Angelo Abbenante and Mr. John Ouderkirk called on the board in reference to the repair of the Meadowbrook Road. Mr. Willard Durham, Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Cross, Mr. Thomas O'Brien, Mr. Dennis Cronin, Mr. Carl Holmquist, Mr. Harold O'Connor and Mr. Richard McDonald called on the board in reference to the repair of the Cronin Road. The following resolutions were adopted: q0111., o1n 3, introduced by Justice Sleight, seconded by Councilman mpson,' RESOLVED that the Board of Water Commissioners purchase and install one 2" water meter for Delong's Dairy. It was further resolved that cost of lotbr and installation be charged to the North Glens Falls Water Dis- trict Extension. Noes - Abne z„ x 272 R -sn1mtinn 4 .5, introduced by Councilman Lampson, seconded by Justice Bentley: I WHEREAS Warren County is beginning a planned road building and re- building highways in the County, and whereas the Bay Road in the Town of Queensbury leading from the city of Glens Falls to Dunhatn's Bay is and has been for several years in bad condition, and minor repairs are con - stantly being made and, WHEREAS the said Bay Road is one of the heavily travelled County roads all the year and shows by actual count that the summer traffic is=heavy and the road is used by and serves a large portion of the tax- payers of Warren County, therefore, be it RESOLVED that the Warren County Board of Supervisors include in its immediate plans the construction of the said Bay Road aild that if necessary an additional amount of bonds be issued -to .construct the same. Bentley Justice of the Peace Curtis La.mpson Councilman Raymond Walkup Councilman The board convened at 7:30 P.M. Also present Ernest Lackey, County Superintendent of Highways. The Town,Board generally discussed with the Supt. of Highways the pro- posed agreement for the expenditure of highway moneys for the year 1950, and after discussion the Town Board and the Town Supt, of Highways signed an agreement pvhereby it was agreed for general repairs that the sum of $18,750 should be set aside to be expended for primary work and general repairs ,upon 119 miles of Town highway, and the following amounts shall be- expended for percent improvements upon Town highways as follows: Meadow olt Road - 8/10-mile, $2,400; Lake Geogge-Brayton Highway,"eembly � ,5001 River $t, , West Glens Falls for a distance of 2/10 mile, 60 .. rshing Road., 3/10 mile - $904; Lockhart Mt. Road, for a dis - tance of 4/ 10 mile - $1,200; : Twin Channel from Big Bay Road to Twin Channel Park for a distance of 2/10 of, a mile, $600; Sherman Ave. , 4/10 of a mile,$ --$44fl0, Garrison Road, for a distance of 2/10 of a mile, 0600; and that the sum`of $9,2 ' should be set aside temporarily for general re- pairs or special, improv6ments as may be agreed upon hereafter.
