RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE DATE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING
PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY, CHAPTER
179 THEREOF, ENTITLED "ZONING"
RESOLUTION NO. 387, 1991,
Introduced by Mrs. Marilyn Potenza who
moved for its adoption, seconded by Mrs. Betty Monahan:
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury previously
adopted Resolution No. 357, 1991, entitled "Resolution to Set
Public Hearing and to Designate the Town as Lead Agency Regarding
Proposed Amendment to the Code of the Town of Queensbury, Chapter
179 Thereof Entitled 'Zoning'", and
WHEREAS, the Town Board is desirous of changing the date of the
public hearing, and acknowledges that the Town Attorney's Office
has already begun to notify appropriate agencies, individuals and
municipalities of the change of the hearing date,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
changes the date of the public hearing, at which time all parties
in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard,
upon and in reference to the proposed amendment, supplement, change
and/or modification to the Town of Queensbury Zoning Ordinance as
codified and a part of the Code of the Town of Queensbury, Chapter
179, thereof entitled "Zoning" to July 29, 1991, at 6:30 p.m., in
the Queensbury Activities Center, 531 Bay Road, Queensbury, New
York, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk of the Town of Queensbury is hereby
authorized and directed to give 10 days notice of said public
hearing by publishing a notice in a form to be approved by the Town
Attorney for purposes of publication in an official newspaper of
the Town and by posting on the Town Bulletin Board outside the
Clerk's Office said notice, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the Town Attorney's Office is hereby authorized and
directed to give notice of said change of the public hearing date
to all of those communities, agencies, and other entities that it
was directed to notify, pursuant to Resolution NO. 357, 1991, of
the proposed amendment, supplement, change and/or modification to
the Town of Queensbury Zoning Ordinance as codified and a part of
the Code of the Town of Queensbury, Chapter 179, thereof entitled
"Zoning", pursuant to Resolution NO. 357, 1991, and any actions
already taken by the Town Attorney's Office to so notify any
agency, municipality or interested person of said change of hearing
date are hereby ratified.
