Absorption field to be 70’ from the well instead of the required 100’ setback; 2. Absorption field to be 3’ from the west property line instead of the required 10’ setback; and 3. Absorption field to be 3’ from the south property line instead of the 10’ required setback; on property located at 211 Assembly Point Road in the Town of Queensbury, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town of Queensbury’s Local Board of Health will hold a public hearing st on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Queensbury Activities Center, 742 Bay Road, Queensbury, to consider Frank and Erin Steinbach’s sewage disposal variance application concerning property located at 211 Assembly Point Road, Queensbury (Tax Map No.: 226.19-2-18) and at that time all interested persons will be heard, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Local Board of Health authorizes and directs the Queensbury Town Clerk to publish the Notice of Public Hearing presented at this meeting and send a copy of the Notice to neighbors located within 500’ of the applicant’s property as required by law. th Duly adopted this 7 day of October, 2019, by the following vote: AYES : NOES : ABSENT: ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN w. lip PARTNERSHIP LIR 900 Route 146 Clifton Park,NY 12065 (P)518 371 7621 (F)518 371 9540 edpllp.com September 30,2019 T Town of Queensbury Board of Health \, 742 Bay Road ' Queensbury, NY 12804 cv RECEIVED 0 OCT 1 2019 Attn: John Strough, Supervisor QUEENSBURY CLERK'S OFFICE c Re: Steinbach Residence—211 Assembly Point Road BOH Variance Request tt Ot 6 g L Dear John: Submitted for your distribution and review are nine sets of a Board of Health wastewater system variance application for the Steinbach residence located at 211 Assembly Point Road. The neighboring property to the north (Carte) has a water supply well located near the property line about mid-lot. As a result there is no location on the Steinbach lot that is beyond the required 100' setback to that well. It should be noted that the existing Steinbach system is approximately 45'from the Carte well. In an effort to get the furthest separation that the lot can provide(70')the absorption field is positioned to be closer than the standard 10'separation to the southern and western property lines. The proposed design will include an enhanced treatment unit(Clarus Fusion)and an ultra violet(UV) light disinfection unit to mitigate the need of a setback variance to the neighboring well. The application documents include the following: • Proposed Wastewater Improvements For The Steinbach Residence 211 Assembly Point Road Road Sheet S-1 Cover Sheet Sheet S-2 Existing Conditions Sheet V-3 Variance Plan Sheet S-4 Wastewater Details Sheet S-5 Enhanced Treatment Details • Queensbury Board of Health Application for Septic Variance • Application Fee -$150 check I am available to meet with you and/or other Board members to further discuss this proposal prior to the public hearing.
