RESOLUITON TO ACCEPT BID OFR ONE NEW 1991 MODEL THREE WHEEL,
HYDRAULIC/ENGINE DRIVEN TOW TYPE SIDE DELIVERY ROTARY SWEEPER
RESOLUTION NO. 403, 1991,
Introduced by Mr. Ronald Montesi who
moved for its adoption, seconded by Mrs. Betty Monahan:
WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing for the Town of Queensbury,
Warren County, New York, duly advertised for the purchase of one
new 1991 Model Three Wheel, Hydraulic/Engine Driven, Tow Type Side
Delivery Rotary Sweeper, as more specifically identified in
documents previously submitted and in possession of the Town Clerk
of hte Town of Queensbury, and
WHEREAS, the firm of Arto Equipment Sales, Inc. has submitted the
lowest bid for the said sweeper, said bid being in the amount of
$7,583.00, a copy of their bid proposal being presented to this
meeting, and
WHEREAS, Thomas K. Flaherty, Water Superintendent, has recommended
that the bid be awarded to the aforesaid bidder, and
WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury is desirous of purchasing said new
1991 Model Three Wheel, Hydraulic/Engine Drive, Tow Type Side
Delivery Rotary Sweeeper from Artco Equipment Sales, Inc., and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury, Warren
County, New York, hereby awards the bid for the said sweeper to
Artco Equipment Sales, Inc., and that said sweeper be paid for from
the Appropriate 040-8340-2001 Account, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor is hereby authorized to execute
and seal said Contract.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF ANNUAL LISTING OF FIRE SERVICE
AWARD POINTS TO PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR
RESOLUTION NO. 404, 1991
, Introduced by Mr. Ronald Montesi who
moved for its adoption, seconded by Mrs. Marilyn Potenza.
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury, by previous
Local Law, has established a Fire Service Awards Program, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the aforesaid Local
Law, involved volunteer fire companies and firefighters have
submitted participated rosters indicating the number of points to
be awraded to each participating firefighter, said participant
rosters having been submitted to this Town Board,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby
approves the listing of years of prior service credits and credits
earned by firefighters as participating members in the Service
Awards Program, and hereby authorizes hte Town Supervisor to
execute an authorization to use the date for the 1990 servie Award
Program Administration, and submit the same to the Program
Administrator as the points to be used in calculating the awards to
be made to each volunteer firefighter.
