RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT BETWEEN TOWN OF
QUEENSBURY AND GREATER GLENS FALLS SENIOR CITIZENS

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board believes it is appropriate and beneficial to provide
social and recreational activities and programs to Town of Queensbury senior citizens and therefore
wishes to contract with the Greater Glens Falls Senior Citizens for senior citizen recreational and social
activities and programs as permitted and authorized by New York State General Municipal Law §95-a,
and
WHEREAS, a proposed Agreement between the Town and the Greater Glens Falls Senior
Citizens has been presented at this meeting, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes the Agreement between the
Town and the Greater Glens Falls Senior Citizens for the year 2019 with funding for the Agreement
not exceeding the sum of $2,000 and authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to execute the
Agreement, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that funding for such Agreement shall be paid for from the appropriate Town
account as will be determined by the Town Supervisor and/or Town Budget Officer.
