RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING INCREASE OF PETTY CASH
ALLOTMENT IN TOWN PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, certain Departments of the Town of Queensbury are allotted $100 in petty cash in
order, among other things, to purchase necessities such as postage or supplies on a more timely basis,
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has advised that due to increased
operational demands of the Parks and Recreation Department particularly during the summer months,
the Department utilizes its petty cash allotment at a much faster rate, and
WHEREAS, in order to better facilitate the timely purchase of necessary program materials
and facility supplies, the Director has requested Town Board authorization for a $150 increase in the
Department’s petty cash allotment or to a total of $250,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes an increase in the Town’s
Department of Parks and Recreation’s petty cash allotment from $100 to $250, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Director of Parks and
Recreation and/or Town Fiscal Manager to take such other and further action as may be necessary to
effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
