The board generally discussed the Erwin plan for construction .of Town highways, and after discussion Resolution No. 21 introduced by Council- man Walkup, seconded by Justice Bentley was presented: RESOLVED that the scheduled prepared at the request of your Town Board for the improvement of they Town Highway and covering all projects- contemplated by it pursuant to Chapter 824 of the Laws of 1950, as filed:i in the office of the Towh Clerk of the Town of Queensbury, County of Warren, on the 4th d y of May, 19519 be and the same is hereby adopted and be it further RESOLVED, that copies of such schedule be filed in the appropriate State and County Offices in accordance with the provisions of Section 2, Chapter 824 of the Laws of 1950, Sehedule for Roads for Erwin Plan (1) Hav land Road 2. Leonard Manchester• a d Joseph Hanna of the Water Board df the city of Glens Falls were present along with Garner Tripp, Superintendent of the- City Water Department . A discussion was had in reference to the acqui- sition- of 48963 feet of 12" water main. After discussion, the following resolution No. 22 wa introduced by Justice Bentley, seconded by Coun- c pson: RESOLVED that he town purchase from. the city of Glens Falls for the North Glens Fall Water District Extension 4,963 feet of 12 inch water main running from the lower junction, so-called, to and along the west side of Route 9 to the city line as it now exists, together with all rights, titles and fee which the city of Glens Falls has in and to the 33 foot strip of real property through which the portion of the 12" main now runs for a consideration of $11,653. The aforesaid main now supplies water to the North Glens Falls !Water District. t
