RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HIRING OF TEMPORARY LABORER IN
DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING AND GROUNDS

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury’s Facilities Manager has requested Town Board
authorization to hire a temporary Laborer to work in the Building and Grounds Department until such
time that a current employee who is out temporarily due to an unexpected illness, can return to
work,
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds for such temporary position in the 2007 Town Budget,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the hiring of a
temporary Laborer to work in the Building and Grounds Department until such time as the
Department’s full time employee returns to work, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that such temporary Laborer shall be paid $12.00 per hour as set forth in Town
Board Resolution No.: 620,2006 to be paid from the appropriate payroll account, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor,
Facilities Manager and/or Town Fiscal Manager to complete any forms and take any action necessary
to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
