RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONTRIBUTION TOWARD
2020 EARTH DAY CELEBRATION IN CITY OF GLENS FALLS
RESOLUTION NO. 335, 2019

WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION
SECONDED BY: Mr. George Ferone
WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board believes it is appropriate and beneficial to Town
residents to contribute toward the provision of certain community-based services and benefits, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to contribute toward a 2020 Earth Day Celebration to be
held in the City of Glens Falls with the Town splitting the estimated $1,500 total expenses for the
Celebration equally with the City of Glens Falls, or up to $750,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes funding toward a 2020
Earth Day Celebration in the City of Glens Falls with the Town splitting the estimated $1,500 total
expenses of the Celebration equally with the City of Glens Falls or up to $750, such expenses to be tax-
exempt and paid for from the 2020 Town Budget from such Town account(s) as will be deemed
appropriate by the Town Supervisor and/or Town Budget Officer, and authorizes and directs the Town
Supervisor to execute any needed documentation and the Town Supervisor and/or Town Budget
Officer to take any other needed actions to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
