At ,a special meeting of the Town Board of the Town of
Queensbury, `"held on the above date at 7 :30 P.M. at the Clerk's
office the following members were present. i
H:;Russel:l Harris Supervisor
Henry'.-Sleight Jusr•tice of the peace
Keredi,th' Bentley Justice of the peace
Curtis "Lampson Councilman
.Raymond Walkup , Councilman
Ernest Lackey, Superintendent of Highways also present,
Monthly statements for the months of January and February
were presnted by the supervisor and read to the Board, by the
clerk.
The clerk read the following recommendation from -the Town
Superintendent of Highways.
To : Tows Board- of March 9th,1946
the Town of Queensbury <. -
Gentlement :
I hereby -recommend the purchase by the Town to be used for
snow removal the following equipment ;
One-- 4 whe6l drive 5 Ton ruck equipped with 3 yard body
One- V Type snow plow 'w14 two wings full hydrolic op_erated
complete mounted on said ruck.

Whereas the .Town Superintendent" of Highways has recommended
to the Town Board the purchase of a truck and srrow plow
for snow removal.
Now thereofr be it resolved that the Town Board of the Town
of Queensbury will meet on the 23rd day March 1946 at 7 :30 ff

Office to consider such purchase.
Further resolved that the Clerk be and is hereby authorized and

law substantially in the following form.

purchase of One Four wheel drive-five ton truck equipped with
