RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING LAKE GEORGE TRIATHLON

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Adirondack Triathlon Club, a not-for-profit organization, has requested
authorization from the Queensbury Town Board to conduct the Lake George Triathlon to benefit the
Glens Falls YMCA Youth Scholarship Program and other local charities as follows:

DATE : Sunday, September 2, 2007
TIME : Approximately 8:15 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. (Bike Leg Portion)
PLACE : Warren County Bike Trail and then Birdsall, Round Pond,
Blind Rock, Haviland, Rockwell, Sunnyside, Jenkinsville and
Ridge Roads

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby acknowledges receipt of proof of
insurance from the Adirondack Triathlon Club to conduct the Lake George Triathlon partially within

the Town of Queensbury on Sunday, September 2, 2007, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby approves this event subject to approval by the
Town Highway Superintendent, which may be revoked due to concern for road conditions at any time
up to the date and time of the event.
