The chairman called for a hearing on the recomendation of the superintendent of highways to purchase a truck and Snow i plpy, 4 No Person appeared opposing the purchase of such equjpment. " Resolution No.14 introduced by Justice Sleight, seconded by Co;-q ilman Walkup. Resolution No . 16 Ijhtroduced by Justice Sleight, Seconded by Councilman Lampson, It was resolved that the John J Harris Memorial Chapel be and is hereby authorized to be to remove grass- ' weeds Brush and car-for and conserve the cemetery adjoining the John J Harris Memorial Chapel. Further resolved that brush, weeds andgrass be removed at least three times a year by the said John J Harris Memorial Chapel. Further resolved that the sum of$31.25' be and is hereby appropiated. Further resolved that the work be completed by October lst ,1946 . Duly adopted by the following vote Ayes.: Der Walkup, Mr,, Bentley, Mr Lampson, Mr. Sleight and Mr fiarris Noes : NONe. Mr Justice Sleight, Justice of' the Peace offered the following resolution No 17, seconded by Councilman Walkup. Y WHEREAS it is deemed for thb' best interests of the T-6wn of Queensbury to establish ordinances regulating the conduct Of -Junk Yards and sale of second hand automobiles- and j slaughter Houses , as prohided by the Town Law. RESOLVED that the Town Clerk be and hereby is authorized to give notice of a public, hearing and advertise and post notices as required by section 130 of the Town Law. Duly adopted by the following vote i Ayes ; Mr Walkup, Mr. Bentley, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Sleight and Mr Harris. � Noes :None. i Resolution No 18 Introduced by Justice Bentley, Seconded Councilman Walkup. Whereas Millard Coon, Truant Officer's salary was not paid for the months of September, October, November and,,-December, 1945and has 'presented a verified claim therefore. Therefore be it resolved that the sum of Eighty Dollars be and hereby appropiated from the contingent Fund for such purpose to the general Town Fund.
