RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR
BILLING AND COLLECTION OF EMERGENCY SERVICES

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury’s Emergency Squads have requested that the
Purchasing Agent and Town Fiscal Manager obtain authorization from the Town Board to distribute a
Request for Proposals (RFP) to qualified companies for the billing and collection of emergency
services, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to authorize distribution of such RFP,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town’s
Purchasing Agent to distribute a Request for Proposals for the billing and collection of emergency
services, substantially in the form presented at this meeting, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Purchasing Agent and/or
Town Fiscal Manager to take any action necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
