Been, Mr. Nobles and Mr. Lampoon have examined the premises and have found that the lands on which it is proposed to purchase for use OS & slate quarry are suitable and whereas it is at the opinion of the Board that it is for the best interest of the taxpayers of the Town of 4ueensbury that the Board obtain — ' lands suitable for a quarry and Whereas after negotiations, the above offer of the Robertson Estate is lowest price that said lands could be obtained. Resolved that the above mentioned committee be and is hereby continued for the purpose of examining title, acquire .the necessary right of ways to the Highways, supervise surveying, description, consult with the County Attorney and Town Superintendant of Highways Igo- relative to the purchase to the above described land and purchase for the sum of $1000 said land from the owners thereof upon the ,approval by the County Attorney of the title snd search and execution of deed of eonveyande.
