M. at• the: Clerk-1 s odfics the following menbers were present; f Jabez Ingalsbe, Supervisor Curtis Lampson, Councilman Charles Nobles, Justice of Peace Meredith Bentley,Justice of Peace Ralph Been Justice of Peace. Bert D. Turner Town Clerk County Attorney Beecher Clother and H. Russell Harris Town Super- intendant of Highways also present. Minutes of Regular Meeting held on June 25th, 1940 were 'read and w after correction were approved. A communication from Samuel Pruyn-- relative to regulating -traffic and erreeting road signs was read to the board by the Clerk. Ur. Uftad leading from said highway 9L to the and of Ripley's • Point. 3aort Amherst Road leading from Glens Falls-Lake George highway to Bay Road. 4,Garrison Road leading from Glens Falls-Lake George highway to Bay Road. 5, Such other Roards that committefsdeeme it necessary, RESOLEVZD: That the supervisor appoint a committee of two menbers to act with the Town Superintendant of Highways to determine the places and design of signs and signals, which in their judgment will assist in controlling traffic on said highways, Further Resolved: that said committee be and hereby are authorized to purchase and erect such signs and signals which in their Judgment be of the best interest to the Town,the same to be - approved by the� Town Superintendant of Highways, Further Resolved: That the Bill_ for the purchase price and cost for erecting such sighs be presented to this board for audit.
