Adjourned meeting December 30th, 1940.
At an adjourned meeting of the Town Board of the Town of
Queensbury held on the above date at 9:00 A.M. , at the
Clerk' s Office the following members were present :
Jabez Ingalsbe, Supervisor
Curtis Lampoon, Councilman
Charles Nobles, Justice of Peace
Meredith Bentley, Justice of Peace
Ralph Been, Justice of Peace
Bert D. Turner, Town Clerk
H. Russell Harris, Town Superintendent of Highways, also
present.
The Board continued the examination of the accounts and
books of Justice of Peace and Supervisor.
Shortly after the session opened Mr. Ingalsbe was excused
on account of illness.
Board recessed at 12:00 until 1:00 P.M, at which time
the board reconvened and continued the examination and
audit.
The Clerk read applications from Ralph Hill, Richard
Brayton and Robert LaPan for. position of Dog Enumerator.
The following resolution was proposed :
RESnLUTTON N0, 87, Introduced by Mr. Lampson, seconded by
Mr. Nobles.
Pursuant to the Agriculture and Market Law Theresa Dimick
be and is hereby appointed Dog Enumerator for the Town of
queensbury for the year of 1941.
Duly adopted by the following vote:
Ayes- Mr. Lampson, Mr. Nobles , and Mr. Ingalsbe
Noes- Mr. Been and Mr. Bentley
The board audited accounts as follows :

On motion the Board adjourned to 9 :00 A.M. on December
31st, 1940 at the Clerk' s Office.

ADJOURNED MEETING DECEMBER 31st, 1940
At an adjourned meeting of the Town Board of the Town of
Queensbury held on the above date at the Clerk' s Office
the following Aembera were present :

Ralph Been, Justice of Peace
Curtis Lampson, Councilman
Bert D. Turner, Town Clerk
H. Russell Harris, Town Superintendent of Highways, also
present.
The Board continued the examination of the Supervisor and
Justice of Peace books and dockets and at 12:00 in the
forenoon recessed until 1:00 P. M. in the afternoon at that date.

At 1:00 P. M. the Board reconvened all members being present,
The Board continued the examination of the accounts of
Justice of Peace and Supervisor.

The Folling resolutions were presented:
Mr. Lampson introduced resolution. No. 88 which was seconded
by Mr. Nobles
Resolved that this Board has examined the books of the
Supervisor and found the disbursements correctly made. It is
further,
Resolved that the audit of the receipts be made after
information furnished by the auditors showing amount and
sources of all sums received, it is further,
Resolved that the dockets of the Justices of the Peace were
examined and money due the Town were accounted for.
Duly adopted by the following vote:
Ayes--' Mr, Been, Mr. Nobles , Mr. Lampson, and Mr. Bentely
and Mr. Ingalsbe

Whereas , section 105 of the Town Law requires each Town
Officer and employee who receives or disbursesmoney, to
file a,, report, in writing, with the Town Board, showing
his receipts and disbursements and that such statement
shall be in detail and entered in the minutes.
Therefore, it is Resolved that each Town Officer and
employee, who receives or disburses money to make said
statement and report according to said section.
The above resolution was lost by the f-ollowing vote-:
