1941-04-08 6 ' following resolution was adopted. Resolution #11 Introduced by fir. Nobles, seconded by Mr. Been - Whereasi Tht pdtition of the Hudson Transportation Co. Inc. , dated april 8,1941 and verified the sadab day , has been duly filed with the Towi} Board of the Town of 4ueensbury, praying for a consent to operate a motor bus line on and along certain highways in the Town of 4ueensbury, Warren County, N.Y. and, Whereas, Section 64, Subdivision 7, of the Town Law, provides that no anohceonsent shall be granted without a public hearing,' notice of which shall be given by publication of notice thereof in the official paper, at least ten days before the meeting. Now Therefore, Be It Resolved that a public hearing on such application be held at the office of the Town Clerk of the Twmn of i�ueensbury, on the 21st day of Apri1,1941, at 7:30 P.M. , at which time and place all persons interested in such application will be heard, and notice bf such hearing be given by publication thereof once, in the Glens Falls Times, the official paper, at least ten days prior to the date of said hearing. Further resolved that the Clerk of this board be and is hereby authorized and directed to cause said notice to be published as aforesaid. . Duly adopted by the following vote : Ayes : Mr., Been, Mr. Nobles, Mr. Lampsom, Mr.Bentley and Mr. Ingalsbe. Noes None. In the matter of acquiring the property east of the Store house property the following resolution was adopted. Resolution NO.12 Introduced by Mr. Been, Seconded by Mr. Lampson. It was resolved that the committee appointed by resolution #7 adopted March 25th 1941 be and the same is hereby continued Further resolved that said committee investigate the` price of the property on the west ofcthefstore house property with the same authority & purpose as contained in said resolution 7 Duly adopted by the following vote : Ayes :- Mr. Been, Mr, Nobles, Mr, Lampson, Mr.Bentley and Mr. Ingalsbe. Noes;- None, The Clerk read a communication from H. Louise Miller in reference to leveling a road leading to her camp. The board general discussed the purchase of equipment for use by the Town Superintendent of Highways and the following resolution was introduced. Resolution #13 Introduced by Mr. Bentley, Seconded by Mr. Been, Whereas the County ef.Varren.:has<.offered to sell to the,_ Town of (�ueensbury One F.W.D. , Truek known° as Truck X51 with snow plowof Warren County for the sum of $800. and Whereas the Town Superintendent has recommended to this board the purchase of said equipment at said selling price. WHEREAS a petition was filed by James W. Fitzgearld, pursuant to Section 66 of the Transportation Corporatiohe Law, for a consent by the Twon Board of the Town of 4ueensbury to operate a motor bus line on and along certain highways in the Town of �ueensbury,and WHEREAS a resolution was duly adopted by the Town Board of the Town of ..,ueensbury on the 8th day of April, 1941 that a public hearing on said application be had at the office of the Town clerk on the 21st day of Apri1,k941, at 7:30 o' clock, P.M., and th4tonottee of such hearing be given by publication in Glens Falls Times it once at least ten days prior to the date of said hearing, and WHEREAS due notice of said public hearing was given by publishing the same in the "Glens Falls Times" on the *th day of April,1941 and WHEREAS a public hearing has been held on said application at the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of �ueensbury on the 21st day of April, 1941 at which time persons interested in said application have been heard, RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of �iueensbury, County of Warren and State of New Yorks hereby grants to James W. Fitzgearld will carry no passengers between any point in the City of Glens Falls and any point on said route nearer to the City of Glens Falls than the Big Bay Road.
