1941-06-05 SP 7 SPECIAE MEETING JUNE h,1941 At a special meeting of the Town Board of the Town of 14ueensbury held on the above date at 7:30 P.M, at the Clerk's office, the following menbers were present; Jabez Ingalsbe, Supervisor, Curtis Lampson, ZliXZXXKXMRXXXUCouncilman Charles Nobles Justice of Peace, Meredith Bentley, Justiceof Peace Ralph Been Justice 'of Peace. Minutes of meeting eld on May a 27th194 Y 1 were read and approved. Mr. Oudekirk called on the board in reference to drainipg Meador bnook road in front of his property. Mr. Bentley reported th+t the Peters property could a bougght for X850• a4 rt,h* erl eters had dropped tH'e pre e fbrom $1000.to that figure but that he- was of the opinion that the price was to high, The Clerk read communications from the Association of Towns g Advising the board of schools being conducted in toe state for town officials. Resolution No. 26 Introduced by Mr. Nobles, Seconded by Mr Lampson It was resolved that Supervisor, Justices of Peace, Councilman assessors, Welfare Officer and Superintendent of Highways be and'-hereby are authorized to attend the various sponsered schools for their respective offices to be held in 1941.in the State of New York, Further resolved pursuant to subdiftsion 12 of Section 102 of the Town Law, the actual iftecessapy expenses incurred by any Town officer and employee so attending any of such sponsered schools °for his respective office shall be a town Charge. Duly adopted by the Followin g Vote- Ayes- Mr. Been, Mr. Nobles Ingalsbe Mr. Lampson Mr. Bentley and Mr. Noes-None Resolution No27, Introduced by Mr Nobles', Seconded` by Mr, Lampson, It was Resolved that Water Department of the City of Glens Falls be and is hereby authorized to prepare the individual billings for the North Glens Falls Oater District consumers as heretofore and as per letter from E.H,Meyer to the Town Board of 4ueensbury Dated May 17th,1941. Resolution No. 28 Introduced by Mr. Lampson seconded by Mr. Bentley: Whereas it was necessary to hold a meeting of this board on June 5th,-1941 five days previous to the next regular meeting and the Town Board transacted all the business that was before them at that tite and deem it unnecessary to incur further expense by holding Jhe regular meeting on June lOtll,194.1. Resolv4d. that the next regular meeting be and the same is hereby set or r. to the regular meeting to be held June 24th, 1941.
