Further resolved, that the sum of not to exceed $187,00 be and is
hereby appropriated for the performance on the part of the Town
of �4ueensbury of the conditions as set forth in the aforementioned
deed
Further resolved that the cost of materials and labor shall be
paid from the general Town Fund.on presentation of properly
verified bills for same.
Further resolved, that this resolution as to form and legallity
shall ,be subjected to the approval by the County Attorney before
it takes effect.

Resolution No. 45. Introduced by Mr. Lampson, seconded by
Mr. Nobles
f`hereas, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury deem the
Town Road Highway at the Dixon Road and running westerly from
said Dixon Road along the south side of the property and. wa er
sheds of the City of Glens Falls for a distance of 75 feet unsafe for
public travel for the reason said road is a dirt constructed,
with a steep bank along the north side of said road and has
continuous washouts on said road surface and greatly increased
travel over said road and to avoid serious accidents or liability
on the part of said Town, said Town Board deem it necessary that
extra ordinary repairs be made to said road by rebuilding ,

grading, resurfacein and draining game for a distance of 75 feet.
Resolved that pursuant to the provision s of the statute there -be
tl� and hereby is appropriated and made available for said purpose
the sum of $175 and it is further, ---
Resolved that the Supervisor be and hereby is authorized to
borrow .on the faith and credit of said Town the sum of $175 from
the Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company and to execute
a certificate of indebtedness for said sum payable March let,. 1942
with interest at the rate of 3% per annum.
Further Resolved that the above resolution as to form andilegallity
shall be subject to the approval of the County Attorney before it
takes effect.

designating polling places for the Town of 4ueensbury,, the following
members were present:

It was resolved that the following places be' and are hereby

in the .Town of Queensbury
District #1-Leo Lal'ountain' s Store, Monty' s Bridge
2-Mohican Grange Hall, Oneida Corners
3- School House-School District #22 Glenwood Avenue
4-Town off' Queensbury Store House-Aviation Field Road. -
5-Seward Lampson' s Garage-West Glens Falls
all in the Town of' 4ueensbury at a yearly rental of 430.00
per year outside of District #4- Lessors are to furnisft-heat
and lights.

At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury

Ralph Been, Justice of Peace
H. Russell Harris, Town Superintendent of Highways, also present.
Minutes of Meeting held on August 12th were read and approved.
Applications were received from Richard C. Davis and Ralph B.•
Turner requesting the appointment and recommendation for
appointment to the office of Custodian of Voting Machines, which
the Clerk regd to the Board.
Resolution No, 47, Introduced by Mr. Lampson, seconded by
Mr. Nobles
Whereas, by section #251of the Election Law, the Board of
Elections are charged with the- duty of appointing Custodians for
voting machines and election law provides for the appointment
of one from each major party.
Resolved, the Town Board hereby recommends the appointment
of Custodian of voting machines of Ralph B. Turner, a regular
enrolled republican of the Town of Queensbury and Cornelius J.
Nealon, a regular enrolled democrateof the Town of Queensbury.
It is further resolved that the salary of said Custodians be
and hereby is fixed at the annual salary of $50,00 each payable
as provided by the election law, it is further
Resolved that such Custodians perform all duties provided by
the election law, as directed by the Board of Elections.
