As per your request we have conducted the following Energy Code Compliance Inspections and/or tests.
☐Thermal Bypass Inspection, prior to insulation installation
☐Duct Tightness Testing when applicable
☒Infiltration and Air Leakage Testing (Blower Door Test)
The purpose of our testing/inspections are to provide independent verification of as built conditions as
they specifically relate to the applicable version of the adopted energy code. We are not in any way
responsible for the means, methods, materials or equipment used in constructing this Commercial
Building and make no warranty as to their suitability for such.
Our testing and/or inspections are in accordance with the applicable version of the International Energy
Conservation Code, ASTM Testing Protocols, Building Performance Institute Standards, and Resnet
Standards for these tests/inspections.
Equipment used for this report includes:
✓Retrotec Blower Door, Model # 5000 (2 used)
✓Retrotec Blower Door, Model #1000
✓Flir Infrared Imager Model C2
All equipment used for these testing/inspections have current and valid calibrations as specified by the
manufacturer.
All technicians completing this work hold current and valid certifications as noted on the report
documents.
The following data was obtained during testing on October 30 , 2019:
Floors: 0 SF
Envelope Properties: Walls: 5,640 SF
Roof: 7,453 SF
Total: 13,093 SF
Allowed Infiltration: 0.40cfm/sf or 5,237cfm at 75 PA Confirmed Actual Infiltration: 0.36cfm/
sf or 4,840cfm at 75 PA
Based on our confirmed testing your commercial building is in compliance with 2016 Energy
Conservation Construction Code, Section C402.5 Air Leakage- thermal envelope.
