It was resolved that the Queensbury Red Cross unit be and are
hereby authorized to remove grass, weeds, brush and care fore
and conserve the Jenkin' s Cemetery.
Further Resolved that brush and weeds and grass be removed
at -leant three times a year.
Further resolved that the sum of $50.00 be and is hereby
a ppt•oqi aged.
Further resolved that the work be completed by October

At a special meeting of the Town Board of the Town of 4ueensbury
held-on' the above date at 7: 30 P.M. at the Clerk' s office, the

The board generally discussed the matter of erecting aniiici
honor roll for the men andwo men in the armed services and
after discussinn the following resolution was adopted.
Resolution No. 44 Introduced by Justice Sleight, seconded
by councilman Lampoon
WHEREAS it is the opinion of this board that suitable honor
roll be erected in honor of the men and women who are now
in the services of the narpy, navy or marines for the
defense of the United States.
Therefore be it resolved that a suitable honor roll be rrected
on the Glens Falls -La#e George Highway in the Town of
Ciusensbury and there upon be placed the names of the men
and women who are and those who are called An the future
in the armed services of the United 8i66tes durhhg this
emergency and who at the time of their entering the
services were residents of the Town of �iueensbury,
Further res.olved that the sum of not to exceed Five Hundred
Dollars be and the same is hereby appropiated from the
general fund for that purpose.

It was resolved that the Town Board hereby recommends Ruel
Hopkins, republican and Donald J. Sullivan domocrate for
appointment as voting machine custodians for the Town of
Kueensbury for the year of 1942 at a salary of $ 50.00 each
and said sums are hereby appropiated for such purpose.
